Kylie's Birthday

For her birthday Kylie wanted to have her cousins sleep over. So Friday I Called Rochelle and they brought the girls over that night. The girls were so excited-they played til 11:30pm. (since they came over late I didn't have the heart to break the party up sooner)

August fun

On the 12th McKell took Kylie and Leah and had a sleep over and then went up to Utah State to help her do an inservice meeting for her lifeguards. The life guards had to get the girls out of the water and strap them on the body boards after they were rescued. I will post the pictures when I get them, they are soo cute. The girls had a blast painting toe nails, going to a movie and even getting up at 4:30am to get to Logan. - Thanks McKell! Friday Night we went to Benders with Vada, Landon, Sheryl, McKell, Mike, Bryan and our family. It was suppose to be a small group but it grew really fast...we always have fun at benders.

On the 13th we had a Spot the Nate party at Clark's house. Nate was in the disney movie Den Brother so it was his premiere party. Lots of fun--thanks Holly. I even had Nate sign my DVD.

I took the girls to Jungle Jim's on Monday the 16th for a late BDay party for Taryn. Brenda and Matt's families came and the kids had a blast. Thanks Brenda

On the 18th Brenda took my girls with her to Taryn's gymnastic class then they went to Thanksgiving point to the dinosaur museum (Kylie had tickets from last years cow pie bingo)

Camping and Bear Lake

After our Idaho trip Holly brought us back to Utah and then we camped at Franklin Basin which is in Logan Canyon with Scott and Crissy (Blake and Charles had been camping there while we were in Idaho) . It actually put us back in Idaho :) It was soo beautiful there.

Carrie learned to water ski once she was in Idaho waters. This picture was her trying to get up in Utah. I didn't have my camera with her when she was skiing. I heard she was awesome and would even go in and out of the wake. I will post pictures when I get them from my sister in law.

Friday the weather got ugly and while we were out swimming off the boat, Blake joked about how Leah's hair was standing strait up in the water. then when she came in the boat Carrie and my hair also was doing it- strait up and it was wet so we were freaking out. Charles tells us that his teacher told him that was one of the signs of getting hit by lightning so we should pat it down and roll in a ball. That wasn't going to work so we took off towards the marina where there was alot of other things the lightning could hit. It was freaky. We decided to just drive over to the beach and play in the rain. Much safer, I wasn't taking chances with other people's children on our boat.

Playing with Romeo

Drew and Carrie hanging on the beach (he is soo cute)

On our way home Friday ( which was my birthday) the suburban broke down in Weber canyon on our way home. Blake got it started once or twice but it would just die in some of the scariest parts. Anyway we spent some time on the side of the road...very fun. It turned out that the fuel pump went out. Blake's sister came back up after they were unloaded and took us girls home. Kyle was nice enough to help Blake and Karalie get the suburban to her brothers house in Ogden. That night around 9pm we went to Applebee's for dinner..It was fun. We went back up Saturday and Jeff and his brother in law helped Blake put a new pump in and us girls went up to visit with Karalie and her kids. It was a great week and the weekend turned out to be pretty good considering all the action.
