Grandma Evans' Halloween party

Grandma threw a great party for the kids Monday and they loved being with their cousins so much that they didn't want to take time out to eat or play the games.
Here are some of the adorable girls.

Weekend fun

Carrie got to spend the weekend with Tayler and Holly. They got their hair done, bought matching shirts, and went to the movies with Taylor. Too much fun!

Leah learned to ride a dirt bike at Kyle and Scott's house yesterday and loved it. It was just her size and she had no fear of speed. Thanks Scott!

We went to Grandpa and Grandma Evans house yesterday and the girls loved playing with Taryn and Grandpa.

Charles had his first Hockey game Saturday Night and his team the Bulldogs won; Which was nice since dad and Nate weren't so fortunate in their games earlier that day. It was fun to watch Charles play again.

NHL Hockey

Jeremy Roenick #27

Jonathan Cheechou #14

Tonight we went to the NHL game at the E Center with Clark's family. It was the San Jose Sharks vs the Los Angeles Kings. The Sharks had a 3-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings. San Jose scored less than a minute into the game and then added two goals 53 seconds apart late in the second period. It was really neat to watch the professional players they were soo fast. I didn't get pictures but two of my favorites were Cheechou and Roenick. When Blake and I went back to New York and watched an NHL game I had brought Charles some pictures of players back and one of them was Roenick when he was on the Flyers team. It was cool to actually recognize a player.

The Duck Hunt and Girls Day Out

Here is a picture of Kyle and his friend styling in their gear.

Charles and Blake went with Kyle and his friends Duck Hunting yesterday at Bear River Bird Refuge by Brigham City. It rained all the time but they seemed to have had lots of fun. It was Charles first hunt and as you can see below he shot his duck. The duck actually got mauled and eaten by another hunters dog as Charles and the guys were trying to help the dog's owner with his boat; so it never made it home but we did get the picture. I can't believe a hunting dog would chew up the ducks he's supposed to be bringing to his master-what gives with that.

While the boys went hunting then running to both of their hockey practice and hockey game. Us girls went to Layton with Grandma Vada to watch Landon's soccer game and enjoyed a little rain as well. Then we went to Newgate Mall in Ogden with Sheryl's family and Aunt Lavon. The little girls got to try on their flower girl dresses for McKell while Lexi tried on her bridesmaid dress again with some of the other bridesmaids. It was fun to hang out with everyone and the girls loved dressing up I wish I would of brought the camera. We also shopped for Carrie's dress and looked for shoes for everyone. I can't believe we were there all day we left Salt Lake at 10 am and got home around 9 pm and Kylie and Leah were actually pretty good during the adventure.

Blake's Birthday

Friday was Blake's Birthday and my dad's birthday too. We had seen my dad on Thursday so we could party with Blake all night. Blake was enjoying his song above. It was fun to have all the family come by all night and visit.

Carrie had baked Blake the cake and Kylie decorated it. It was her white moose.

Mountain Biking!!!

We rode the Crestline Trail, which starts at Gaurdsmans Pass, climbs 'Puke Hill', and takes you to the top of Millcreek Canyon. From there, we rode down the Big Water Trail, to the parking lot at the top of Millcreek Canyon. Then down the pavement for a mile, and onto the Pipeline Trail that takes you to the bottom of the canyon. It was a epic ride, one I want to do many times over. If you have any desire to ride a mountain bike, this is a MUST!

The small version of these pictures aren't very good. You should click on them, and get a better look. There is a lot of details that you cannot see.

Matt and I. Brighton ski resort is behind us.
The dark clouds made the ride a little cold, and gave us a shower too.

Looking down into Big Cottonwood Canyon. (Brighton again)

This is looking North East from the top of Millcreek Canyon. Park City and I-80 are in the distance.

Looking North West from the top of Millcreek Canyon. This is Desolation Lake. It has no inlets or outlets. It is filled from melting snow, and rain.

Matt desending a bit of technical downhill. (I was too chicken :-) )
