Another fun weekend!

Leah, Taryn and Kylie being silly.

Even though it was our day off the girls and I still got up early Friday morning and went to watch Taryn while Brenda went to work. Taryn would laugh at anything and the girls were loving it.

Taryn was so cute!

The girls and I later went shopping later with Grandma Evans and had a fun but long day. Carrie and I got to go see Twilight with my sisters- Holly, Brenda and Angie it was really fun. I even liked the movie but I didn't think Edward was as cute as everyone else thought.

Saturday was a very fun and long day as well. The girls and I went to a shower for McKell and had alot of fun hanging with family at Jennifer's house. The girls also got to try on their bridesmaid dresses and shoes there-They were so cute! Aunt Sheryl has been amazing at everything she does for us and the girls are soo excited to be a part of McKell's wedding party. Blake and Charles both had to ref some hockey games and then they both played that night. So we spent alot of time running around but had fun.

Weekend fun!

Charles had a hockey game Saturday and had alot of fans come and support him which was awesome. Gma Vada, Ron, Landon, Clark, Holly, Brenda, Ian and Taryn all came with us. I think it helped his game because he played great exspecially considering he had reffed 3 game earlier in the day. He almost had a goal right at first and then got checked pretty good where he was flying in the air. (see above)

Here is Landon torturing Leah.

then Kylie too.

Sunday Carrie and Landon rearranged Carrie's room. How does it look?

Leah and Kylie thought Ron needed a new do.

Sister's Lunch

Holly, Andrea, Mitchell and Cindy waiting to eat.

We went to lunch today at Marie Calendars to celebrate Linda's birthday. It was fun to have all the sisters there. (thanks for going somewhere close) I was bummed that I had to get back to school and miss the pie talk, but I enjoyed it while I was there.

The Cabin

We went to our cabin in Logan canyon over the weekend and had a fun, exciting, scary and very eventful time.
The boys went hunting Saturday AM EARLY and it was hard to sleep in the cabin without the men around. The girls went to town for an hour or two then we came back and went for a hike to the spring. For some reason we were freaked out and turned around shortly.( a couple cabins up) The boys did come back for a bit then left for more pheasants. For some reason we chose to rake up leaves and play around the cabin.
A couple hours later the canyon seemed to fill up with every type of law enforcement and they all stopped just past our cabin( a couple cabins up). We walked down to where they had crime scene tape and had people all over the side of the hill searching for things. I knew something bad had happened but assumed it was at the side of the highway so we were looking up trying to see what was going on and again I didn't look across at the other side of the river. We hurried back to the cabin again feeling very strange. An hour or so later some investigators came down and asked me how long we had been there and if we had seen or heard anything and who had been there before us. I told them I was alone with the girls and asked if I should be concerned about anything or anyone, they just told us not to go up the path and there are always bad guys around. We did have a fun dinner cooking hot dogs over the fire. The older two and I had an extremely long night knowing someone had died but not knowing what was going on.
Sunday we tried to have a fun day even though we were still surrounded by cops. We went hiking on the trails and let the kids slide down the mud hill. When we got home It was really weird to find out about the homicide. I know the kids and I were blessed not to see anything in front of us both times we headed down the path. I still question how we didn't but I am truly thankful we didn't.

The girls out for a stroll

Climbing and Sliding down the mud slide

We had fun playing games and being together.

The kids had a blast helping me rake leaves and riding back and forth on the wheel barrow.

Snow!!

The kids were so excited for the snow today that they started building their HILL again.

nothing funner than the white stuff.

Halloween

This is Hannah Montana (Leah) at the Halloween parade at school.

Kylie is strutting her stuff.

The girls with Lolly who we all love and adore. She is the greatest boss and friend.

I took the girls out trick or treating Friday night and had Charles and Nate escorting us during the first part of the night. Which I'm sure Hannah loved having her body guards using their hockey sticks for protection. It was really cute that they would walk us around and they had turned down the chance to trick or treat themselves.
Carrie got to spend Halloween hanging with Taylor; her favorite cousin, and loved that.

It was alot of fun.

Grandma Evans' Halloween party

Grandma threw a great party for the kids Monday and they loved being with their cousins so much that they didn't want to take time out to eat or play the games.
Here are some of the adorable girls.
