Middle of July

Monday we had an open house at Bruce's house for Alexis and Dan. We love both of them soo much. The party was alot of fun to see family and friends. Here is a picture of John with the happy couple.

Wednesday night Charles scored an awesome goal it was great he almost had two. But the best part of the game was when one of his teammates checked a player in the board and the player took down our player so the referee skates over and takes out our player/knocks him down hard. It was soo funny!!

Saturday morning we went to the Oquirrh Mountain temple open house with Holly and Susan it was alot of fun, even being too early.

After that our neighborhood party was going on so we went to the end of that, the girls still had fun eating snow cones and getting their faces painted.

on the 7th of July we went swimming with Aunt Jen at the Kearns pool. It was 6 1/2 hours of fun. ( I had to force them to leave)

The end of June

The past week was so fun. I started working at Hartvigson in the mornings which really helps me be more patient with my own children. We had the usual piano lessons and had Landon stay over with us. Grandpa Charlie took Landon, Charles and Carrie to the Bee's game Tuesday night and they had a blast. Wednesday I took Landon and the kids to the movies. Thursday night Blake and I went with Charlie and Annette to the Lehi Rodeo. It was soo much fun ditching Porters, then going to the Rodeo. It seems like its been forever doing something without the kids-Thanks Charlie and Annette.



Saturday was Uncle Jay's Reunion and swimming party and like always it was great fun. My Aunt Maureen and Cousin Jennifer out do themselves every year entertaining the kids and they love it. Even though swimming always makes them happy too.

That night our friends the Stokes came and we had a BBQ and watched the Taylorsville Dayz fireworks. It was soo fun catching up with them, kids having a blast together, and eating great food, and the fireworks were amazing.

Father's Day

I just have to say Blake is an amazing father and husband and I love him soo much and I'm truly greatful for all he does. He even bought me a Father's Day gift for making him a father. (I finally got another camera-YEAH!!)


We had a wonderful Father's Day weekend with all our wonderful Dads and Fathers. We visited Ron on Saturday Night. We made Blake breakfast before church then we went to Charlie's for dinner.

Later that night we went to Grandpa Evans and had fun visiting with them and Uncle Dan was there too, so we had an added bonus. We love to visit and hang with our families.

Week of Animals

We went to Hogle Zoo Wednesday with Brenda and Taryn and had alot of fun. Thanks Brenda!

That night we went to Charles hockey game at 6pm and watched his team win one with Uncle Kyle, Uncle Scott and Crissy. Then we went to dad and Uncle Ian's hockey game at 8 pm with another win. Good job Blake and Ian.


We also had fun going to Thanksgiving Point on Friday and going to the farm for Dairy Days with Uncle Bruce and his kids, Aunt Brenda and Taryn and Aunt Rochelle and her girls.

Kylie even won the cow pie bingo and won two passes to the museum. I always knew she was talented--guessing where a cow will poop..amazing. jk

That night we went to a BBQ at Clark and John's to hang with Dan while he was in town. They are the best BBQ chef's in the world!!!! Yum!!!! Definitely invite yourselves its better than any restaurants I've been too.
