Phoenix Trip

Last weekend I went to Phoenix, AZ with Holly, Angie and Linda. We left Thursday night and stayed at a Marriott Residence Inn which seemed like a condo it had a bedroom and bath upstairs in a loft and a bedroom, living room and kitchen downstairs.

Friday we spent the morning at the pool 98' (It was so nice to go outside and soak up the vitamin A) and then went to the outlets of Anthem and spent the day shopping. It was so much fun. That night we went to Papa Deaux it was great food and fun.

Saturday we went to Canyon Lake east of Phoenix and went on the Dolly Steamboat Cruise, It was sooo hot! 104', It would of been nice to wear our suits and go for a swim after.

30-40- 50 in Arizona

On the way back we stopped at the Goldfield Ghost town.

Later that day we went out to dinner with Holly's mission companion in Mesa then went to the Temple and visitor center there.

Sunday we went to church then got to soak up some more vitamin A. We made Angie a Birthday dinner of lasagna w/ice cream and cake.

That evening we drove around pheonix and checked out the sites. Chase Baseball stadium, US Airways Center, Dodge theatre, ect.

Then we drove back to Glendale and went to the University of Phoenix Stadium and Jobing.com Arena. On the other side of the Jobing.com Arena is the Westgate mall with dancing water shows and lots of bars, restaraunts, shops, lights and fun. It was soo neat to hang out at.

Monday we did some more shopping at the Arizona Mills Mall too bad we didn't have more time we could of stayed there all day.

It was such a fun trip. Thanks Linda, Angie and Holly. You guys are awesome!!!!

Flaming Gorge

We went to Flaming Gorge this weekend with Blake's family and we had a blast. We went Thursday on Kylie's Birthday and the first two days were beautiful. We enjoyed alot of swimming, boating, sight seeing and sun. We watched the boat parade this year from camp which was a smaller parade than usual but ended with some awesome fireworks that we still watched from the boat.(it was just parked this year). Then the Wind came Sunday and blew the camp around and we ended with the never ending rain and thunderstorms that seemed to rock the whole canyon it was incredible to listen to while we tried to sleep.(which I am soo thankful to Sheryl who took the girls in her trailer that night.) We woke up to a very wet tent. All of our boats were drenched as well, even with the covers on our boats were filled with water. I think the temperature had started in the upper 80's that weekend and ended in the lower 40's. It was quite the adventure and we will always have the greatest memories from it now.

Here is a picture of Kylie and Leah at the overlook of sheep creek.
