Phoenix Trip

Last weekend I went to Phoenix, AZ with Holly, Angie and Linda. We left Thursday night and stayed at a Marriott Residence Inn which seemed like a condo it had a bedroom and bath upstairs in a loft and a bedroom, living room and kitchen downstairs.

Friday we spent the morning at the pool 98' (It was so nice to go outside and soak up the vitamin A) and then went to the outlets of Anthem and spent the day shopping. It was so much fun. That night we went to Papa Deaux it was great food and fun.

Saturday we went to Canyon Lake east of Phoenix and went on the Dolly Steamboat Cruise, It was sooo hot! 104', It would of been nice to wear our suits and go for a swim after.

30-40- 50 in Arizona

On the way back we stopped at the Goldfield Ghost town.

Later that day we went out to dinner with Holly's mission companion in Mesa then went to the Temple and visitor center there.

Sunday we went to church then got to soak up some more vitamin A. We made Angie a Birthday dinner of lasagna w/ice cream and cake.

That evening we drove around pheonix and checked out the sites. Chase Baseball stadium, US Airways Center, Dodge theatre, ect.

Then we drove back to Glendale and went to the University of Phoenix Stadium and Jobing.com Arena. On the other side of the Jobing.com Arena is the Westgate mall with dancing water shows and lots of bars, restaraunts, shops, lights and fun. It was soo neat to hang out at.

Monday we did some more shopping at the Arizona Mills Mall too bad we didn't have more time we could of stayed there all day.

It was such a fun trip. Thanks Linda, Angie and Holly. You guys are awesome!!!!

Cabin fun

We went to the cabin for Blake's birthday on Saturday with Nate, John and Angie. It was alot of fun. We had different weather each day, It started sunny Saturday while we fished and played.

The fall colors were awesome.

Leah and Kylie playing while dad fished behind them.

My girls look like they are drinking alot in these pictures but they found black and yellow caterpillars they were carring around. They kept them til after the Steelers game.

The ducks would follow Blake and the girls like crazy, they were louder than the girls.

Charles watching Carrie fish.

Blake -- what a view

Kylie and Leah fishing with Uncle John right before mom threw the camera into the dam. (the good thing is the camera is working now.)
Sunday it rained all day and was dark and cloudy, the clouds would just float on the road. We listened to conference and played lots of games--It was a blast.

You cant see the sky but it started snowing Monday right before we left for home.

Hogle Zoo

We went to the zoo with Brenda, Taryn and Nate on the 25th of September to see the baby elephant.............It was so worth it. A beautiful day and the baby was soooo cute.

The baby bolted when we took the picture.

Utah State Fair

We went the Fair with Angie on Saturday night. It was crazy! The girls had got tickets from a reading program to get in and for a ride. Blake and I usually don't let the kids ride carnival rides because they are carnival rides but I guess my brain was still shut down. So the girls got to ride some rides and they had a blast.
