Halloween

It has been a very busy and fun week for the kids they went to a ward party on Friday, Grandma Evans' Halloween party on Saturday; having a blast with their cousins, The girls all had fun at their school parade/parties and Tonight Charles and Carrie went out with their friends trick or treating while dad took the girls around the block too. I still think the younger ones enjoy answering the door more than getting the treats as they showed us by fighting over whose turn it was. It was definitely was a fun week.

New cousin

Us girls got to see our new cousin on Saturday, October 20th.

We went out to Matt and Rochelle's house in Herriman to see Madelyn who was born on Tuesday the 16th.

She was so cute! The girls loved that aunt Rochelle trusted them enough to hold her.

She is just as cute as the the other two girls even though Leah will still say Brooklyn is her favorite and her favorite # is the #2 since that is how old Brooklyn is.

Lunch with Kylie

This month after we went to Leah's play, Kylie came and had lunch with mom in her class and we had a blast.

Leah's Play

Leah was in the cutest play at school this month and of course you can see, she was the cutest raccoon ever. She definitely loves to be in the spotlight.

Blake's Birthday

October 3rd was Blake's birthday the big 37. He was going to take work off so we could play but I ended up working both jobs all day and all night. Luckily he had many visitors and phone calls to keep him occupied. We do have a great family for always being there and supporting us and we love you all for that.
We were able to spend a little family time Friday shopping for Blake's birthday present at Guitar City, Had an awesome dinner at our home with Brenda, Ian and Taryn (thanks Brenda). Taryn is so cute and I cant believe how fast she is growing. The kids loved the excitement of who got to hold Taryn next and we learned proper manners from Taryn as well. Brenda got me hooked and set up on the Blogger and here I am.

We spent most of the weekend home during Conference since Carrie was sick, but it was nice to hang out as a family. Blake went to Kyle and Scott's house for football and steaks (cooked on the smoker) on Sunday. I think that was the best food Blake ever ate he couldn't stop telling me how good they were and how much I missed out. Thanks Scott now he will never be home on Sundays. (jk)

Flaming Gorge

We enjoyed a trip to Flaming Gorge Labor Day weekend with Blake's family and had a blast the weather changed constantly which Blake enjoyed more than I. We did alot of swimming, skiing and sight seeing through Horseshoe Canyon which is gorgeous. Grandpa and the boys got lucky on a few fishing trips and on Saturday we watched the boat parade of lights and watched fireworks in our boats it was really fun. Blake and the girls would dance on the bow of the boat and we would honk and yell as the yachts passed us. Scott would keep getting the other boats wet and grandpa found treasures out in the dark. We would chat around the fire and some nights even get the guitars out. We look forward to next year.
