Spring Break/Easter

For Spring Break we had alot of fun. Wednesday Night Linda, Holly and I went to the temple and then out to dinner, which was very nice. Thursday Carrie went to Brenda's and Charles went to Nate's so the little girls and Mom and Dad watched Bedtime stories and had a sleepover downstairs. Friday night we colored Easter eggs.

Saturday we went to Grandma Evans Easter party and had a fun egg hunt with the cousins. Its always a blast with family. After Leah, Kylie and I went to Hannah Montana the movie with Aunt Holly, Angie, Uncle Gary, Brittney, Alisa, Alexandria and Collin. It was cute.

Sunday the kids had to take some time finding their baskets since the bunny hid them a little harder this year but they had fun finding them and the eggs..it just took some patience.

After church we went to Grandma Vada's for dinner and the kids were lucky to have another egg hunt. They loved every minute of it.

Monday we were out of school also so the kids and I went on a bike ride to the park and around the trails. Then we even did some yard work. It was really fun to spend some time with the kids. Leah even got a sunburn which is hard to believe since I'm freezing right now watching the snow...Crazy weather.

The Cabin

It was a very fun weekend. We went to the Grizzlie's Hockey Game Friday night as a family and had fun even if we lost to the Aces.
Then Saturday morning we went up to the cabin. It snowed off and on on the way up so it was muddy and snowy but mom had fun with the 4 wheeling getting the suburban dirty. It was quiet and cold Saturday but Charles and Blake did decide to try out some fishing even if it was freezing.

Dad fishing while Kylie walked in after I took the picture. ( I guess if Dad could go in she could.)

I think Charles was thrilled to fish. (JK I think it was just a little too cold)

Too cute even when they are cold.

Playing games and having fun.

Better than McDonalds.

We saw a bunch of deer eating Saturday night and the kids were hilarious yelling at them and trying to get their attention.

Grandpa Ron and Grandma Vada came by Sunday for a SHORT but fun visit, next time they will have to stay more than an hour. (Hint Hint)

February

Ok I can't believe its been a month already. I've been too busy to blog.

Blake went back to Wisconsin two weeks ago for training and had alot of fun but froze. (you know its cold if Blake freezes.) Blake's Hockey team is in the playoffs and are doing great. (Blake is 98 and my Brother -In- Law Ian is the goalie.)

Charles has been reffing hockey games and playing hockey still. He is an amazing player and looking forward to playing this summer with the High School.

Carrie's Jr High Basketball team starts playoffs Monday. She just finished Jr Jazz and had her last church Basketball game Friday night it was regional. They lost but Carrie did have a sweet 3 pointer. (She won her last game before that with a 3 pointer right at the end, so this time the coach kept on her to get another) Its very exciting for mom to have the Basketball season slowing down.

We had our Nephew Landon stay with us this weekend, it was fun. We picked him up Friday and went to Carrie's BBall game then had a primary activity on Saturday morning, We got Mary (Kylie's friend) to go with us, then went to pick Charles up from reffing (all morning) and had lunch and played in the park till his hockey game later that day. It was alot of fun but very cold. At Charles Hockey game Grandma Vada, Grandma Evans and Holly came to watch too. After we went to Kyle and Scott's house and Scott let the kids ride his little motorcycle. Today I did sharing time for primary and now Im looking forward to starting another week of excitement and running around again.

Jazz

Last Tuesday Night Carrie and I went to the Jazz game. We had eighth row seats and were sitting left of the basket so it was pretty cool to see the players close up. It was a whole different game that close. Thanks Brenda, Carrie thought that was better than Christmas.

This week we have Jr Jazz tickets and will be on the ceiling this time, but still look forward to it.

Carrie made Eisenhower's Basketball team this week. We are soo proud of her! She was one of 5 seventh graders that made it.

Weekend

Charles, Carrie and I went to Jordan River Temple on Friday. It was their first time doing baptisms for the dead and they thought it was awesome! So we stayed and they did more. Then I took them to lunch in the cafeteria. Brenda watched the little ones, which they always love since they got to play with Taryn. Thank you!

Saturday Carrie had two basketball games (Jr Jazz and Church ball) and won both. Charles and Blake both had a Hockey game and Charles also reffed three hockey games that night. It was a fun but busy day.
