Leah's Birthday

Leah turned 8 last Sunday and we had alot of fun shopping at Justice (Yes she already is requesting certain brands of clothes) and visiting with family. Her Birthday Cake was a giant chocolate chip cookie. Carrie took pictures since I still am camera less. The funny thing is when she down loaded to the computer the pictures all disappeared; hence to say we still didn't get any pictures.

This past week was crazy with Birthday stuff, the end of school, baptism planning and changing, ect. that I decided to stress out and get sick. So I went to school for 1/2 hour Friday then went to the doctor. I ended up having strep throat and some viral thing with aches and pains.(needless to say my tushy hurt before the shot) The doctors were actually really excited that I had something besides the flu. I think I slept 2 days straight other than to get up for the baptism. Charles was really good to take care of the girls and Blake got to finish shopping for the refreshments. I do have a wonderful family.

We went to Yuba for Memorial Weekend with Grandpa Charlie, Annette, Cory, Meredith, Brayden, Caleb, Kirk, Jen, Scott, Crissy and Romeo. It was cold, windy and rained a lot but we still had fun. Sunday we did manage to get the boat out in the AM before the rain came and had fun in the sun while it lasted an hour or two. Since the weather was cold we would go get firewood alot and let the kids ride Scott's little bike The kids loved it!!! It was alot of fun and kept them entertained. Thanks Scott!!

Sunday May 17th

Last week Kylie started piano so now all the girls are making sweet music. Wednesday night Charles started playing hockey on the high school team Mid Valley Moose. It sure is different than county rec. Charles slipped on the tile, stepping around the goalie, before the game while filling water bottles. He still played good and almost had a goal. When he took his skate in to get it fix the guy at the hockey shop was amazed that Charles could even finish the game on the skate because it was so bad. Holly, Tay and Nate came with me and the girls to watch Charles and we had a blast cheering and trying to figure out what sound the Moose make. Blake had his game at the same time so we missed that. It seems like Charles and Blakes games are always around the same time..bummer.

Well I still haven't found my camera yet..so no cute pictures yet. Today we went and rode bikes on the Jordan River Trail. It was so fun, we kept having the kids take turns leading and even though they were really slow...it was a blast but very hot. I think we rode 6 1/2 miles today. We also had a fun visit from Brenda, Ian and Taryn..They brought Blake Ian's famous brownies--Yum Yum. (Blake even shared) Taryn is soo cute!!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day the girls, Blake and I went riding bikes to the park and school, it was so much fun. We went and visited with Grandma Evans after that and picked Charles up too.( He stayed at Grandma's with Nate the night before.) Sunday Blake and I got to spend some time in the sun then we had dinner at Grandma Vada's and visited Grandma Annette after that. It was alot of fun hanging out with our families. We love all our moms soo much. You are the greatest women we know. Thanks for everything you all do for us.

First Weekend in May

Friday the kids and I got to go get ice cream with Grandma Evans, Taryn and Brenda. It was alot of fun.
Saturday we went to my nephew Brayden Braithwaite's baptism. It was really nice Charles gave an awesome talk on Baptism and Carrie said the prayer. Then we went to Grandpa Ron's house with Sheryl, Lexi, Bryan, Kyle and our family for his birthday. We love Ron--he is the greatest!!! Then we went to Cedar Fort and visited The Stokes and had a wonderful dinner with them, the kids got along great and we had a blast visiting. I just can't believe its been 5 years.
I did sharing time on baptism today and used part of Charles talk, it made my lesson rock.
Sorry I don't have pictures to show all the fun but the camera has been missing for weeks.

It was a fun but busy weekend..love it!
